Stratford MS Teachers are “Ba Da Ba Ba Bah, Lovin’ it” at McTeacher’s Night

Bloomingdale| Stratford Middle School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to raise money for the school.
Teachers and support staff from SMS volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019, at the Bloomingdale McDonald’s on Stratford Drive, where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.
Stratford MS staff members worked various jobs throughout the restaurant during this three-hour fundraising event. These jobs included, wearing an apple pie costume, apple pie seller, making ice cream treats, front counter helper, delivering meals to customers, calling out orders, and working the drive-thru.
The proceeds from the 164 Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit SMS. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher’s Night sales were also donated directly to the school.
David Bear, Owner-Operator of the Bloomingdale McDonald’s on Stratford Drive is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
Thank you to SMS teacher, Nicole Thorsen for organizing the entire event.
