The new Bloomingdale McDonald’s, located at 72 Stratford Square Dr., celebrated their Grand Re-Opening with a Ribbon-Cutting, Cake-Cutting, and VIP party on Monday night, July 29.

The event was standing-room only at McDonald’s. David Bear, Owner-Operator, is proud to bring a new, upscale McDonald’s to the Bloomingdale community. This new restaurant will be enjoyed for years to come. The new McDonald’s has a new dining room, self-order kiosks, mobile-ordering, table service, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. It is exactly what Bloomingdale McDonald’s lovers have been waiting for.

At the VIP party, David Bear welcomed friends, colleagues, Village employees, Bloomingdale-area Chamber members, and representatives from the local schools for a special grand re-opening VIP event. The night began with a presentation made by the local Girl Scouts from St. Isidore School. The girls presented the colors and then recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The first speaker was State Representative Diane Pappas.

Mayor Franco also spoke at the event and told David how thrilled they are to have him in the community and how much he appreciates all that he does in the Community. Also, in attendance were many Village Trustees, Several Bloomingdale Chamber Members, and many more Bloomingdale community’s VIPs.

Additional speakers at the event included the following: Anthony Cayce, McDonald’s Franchise Business Partner; Rosa Arnone-Getzloff, President of Carol Stream Elementary School PTA, and David Bear, the Bloomingdale McDonald’s Owner-Operator.

David Bear spoke about how special Bloomingdale is to him. David talked about the experience he wants everyone to have at his restaurants. It is his top priority to impress every guest. He also presented a $1000 check to Dan Vitacco, treasurer of the Bloomingdale September Fest for the Joe Draghi Scholarship Fund.

The event featured complimentary McDonald’s appetizers, smoothies, and of course, cake and cookies. The event also featured a special appearance by The Hamburglar.
