Westchester McDonald’s brings families together for food, fun and balloons

The owner of the McDonald’s restaurant located in Westchester did just that.  The Bear Family opened the doors, on Saturday, October 27, to their newly renovated restaurant, located at 31st. St. and Wolf, for children and their families to enjoy a complimentary balloon event.

Kids were thrilled to choose from various designs provided by RC Juggles. Many Westchester kids left the restaurant on Saturday with smiles glued to their faces. Many of the kids that came in had just finished the Get out and Play Village of Westchester Trick or Treating event at Westchester Commons. The restaurant staff enjoyed seeing all the kids in their costumes.

This courtesy event was all part of the Westchester McDonald’s Grand Re-Opening festivities. The restaurant lobby closed temporarily in September to undergo massive renovations and re-opened to the public in early October, as the McDonald’s of the future.

The restaurant features state-of-the-art technology upgrades, that include full-service self-order Kiosk’s, table service, and of course Mobile Order & Pay and McDelivery available on Uber Eats.   The technology upgrades, a part of the McDonald’s Corporation mobile platform expansion, enable the Bear’s to “evolve with customers”.

“We’ve introduced many options for a more efficient and personal experience,” Bear said.

“Customers can order by mobile app, they can visit curbside and we’ll run it out, as well as the existing traditional ways. They can pay in different ways and customize their food options in different ways. We’ve added more choice and variety to keep up with the growing changes and demands.”

David Bear thanked the community for all their support during the renovations and the Grand Re-Opening events.

“We are so proud to have this beautiful restaurant on 31st. St. and proud to be a part of the growing Westchester community.”
