It was a perfect night at Memorial Park in La Grange Park, where many residents gathered for the annual National Night Out event. National Night Out is an annual event in La Grange Park and it takes place every year to promote the partnership between community neighborhoods and the police. The event featured lots of entertainment and music for the families and in between all the events officer Hernandez educated the community on many ways to stay safe. Officer Hernandez said the event is “all about the kids”. At the end of the night nine Children got new Bikes thanks to generous donations from the Community. La Grange Park residents were treated to lots of entertainment, an amazing spread of food and even a special appearance by The Hamburglar, courtesy of the La Grange and Westchester McDonald’s, owner/operators, The Bear Family.

Thank you to Officer Hernandez for organizing this amazing event for La Grange Park.
